Welcome to the Assumption Track and Field team website! The first Assumption High School Track and Field team competed in 1969 at the Louisville Catholic High School Invitational Games. Much has changed since then, as the team has won numerous Regional team titles, a State Runner-up team finish in 2003, and a State Championship in 2005. This site is not only a source of current season team information, but is also dedicated toward highlighting the accomplishments of the many Assumption Track and Field athletes who have competed over the years.
2012 Track Team wins Regional Title
Assumption's Track Team won its 3rd Regional championship in a row at North Oldham High School after winning the 4 x 800m relay and Pole Vault, getting the top 2 places in the 1600 and 3200, 1st and 3rd in the 800, and 2nd in the 300m hurdles, long jump and 4 x 400m relay, along with a host of other fine finishes. Assumption qualifyied all 4 relay teams for the State Meet as well. Full results can be found here and pictures and video here
